The much awaited Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s delivery has finally taken place in Seven Hills city hospital in Mumbai and she has given birth to a baby girl child. Both, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan have confirmed the news on social networking sites and have expressed their joy and happiness on this. As expected, media specially news channels have shyed away from covering this mega-event on minute by minute basis and have not made it like any other breaking news. However, the news has broken on the newspaper’s sites across the world and whole of blogosphere.

Bollywood star and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has given birth to a baby girl, her husband
Abhishek announced on Wednesday.
“IT’S A GIRL!,” Abhishek, also a
top actor, wrote on his Twitter account, @juniorbachchan, without giving any
further details.
Bachchan’s father, Bollywood legend Amitabh, tweeted his joy at the new arrival: “A dada ji (a grandfather)…Ecstatic!”, calling his new granddaughter “the cutest baby girl”.
The baby was born at the private Seven Hills Hospital in the western Mumbai suburb of Andheri on Wednesday morning, hospital.

The Bachchans went in for the unconventional suburban choice of hospital, side stepping the more popular celebrity choices such as the Breach Candy Hospital.
Reportedly, this is the same hospital where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s sister-in-law, Shrima Rai, gave birth.
It was her father-in-law, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, who broke the big news on behalf of Bollywood’s “first family.” On June 21 (Tuesday night) @SrBachchan tweeted:
“”NEWS NEWS NEWS !! I AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING ..
SO HAPPY AND THRILLED !!!,”.Those 104 characters in all caps confirmed the news India waited for ever since the Abhishek-Aishwarya wedding in 2007.
Hardly surprising, but awe-inspiring nonetheless that in half an hour Mr Bachchan’s Twitter page received 2,843 congratulatory messages. Fans and the media poured into the boulevard outside their Juhu bungalow the next morning.
