In continuing with the decade old tradition, much awaited Kingfisher Calendar 2012 featuring six hot international models has been launched on Wednesday. The Kingfisher Calendar for 2012 has been shot at some of the exotic locations in Negombo, Sri Lanka by the official photographer Atul Kasbekar. Six international models who have posed for hot bikini shots for the Kingfisher Calendar 2012 are -Nathalia Pinheiro, Tena Desae, Angela Jonsson, Maia Haydon, Mimi Blix, and Saiyami Kher. Out of all the models, Nathalia is the winner of the Kingfisher Calendar hunt 2012. Angela Jonsson has often been linked to famous Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor as his lover. It is interesting to note that some of the famous Bollywood actress have also obliged to be part of the Kingfisher Calendar in some of its past editions. Some of these names are – Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Nargis Fakhri. Ujjwala Raut, Bruna Abdullah, Lisa Haydon and Yana Gupta.
Nathalia Pinheiro – Kingfisher Calendar 2012 Model Babes
Brazilian-Indian model Nathalia Pinheiro was Wednesday crowned the Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2012. Born in Rio de Janeiro, the 21-year-old won the title defeating 15 models from across the country.
“I loved the entire experience of the talent hunt. Though the competition was a bit tough this time, I made a few friends during the journey. Also, the platform made me a strong individual. I am overjoyed with the entire experience of participating to winning the crown,” she told IANS.
Pinheiro, who is also a trained opera singer, said: “I love enjoying my life to the fullest and believe in living for the moment rather than thinking about the future.”
Known as Nathy among friends and family, her plan is to celebrate the victory with her close ones.
The contest was aired on NDTV Good Times.
For the last six months, Pinheiro has been living in Mumbai. She was the first one from her family to enter the glamour world.
She started modelling at the age of 14 and has done TV commercials and print ads.
