It’s reunion time for ‘Kapoors’

The two decades of bitterness is a thing of history amid the two families and the picture shown here verifies it.The spectators at the Mumbai International Airport were amazed to see Karisma, Kareena and Ranbir Kapoor talking enthusiastically when they are making their exit from the airport.  Whilst Karisma escorted her sister Kareena for the promotions of her movie ‘Heroine’ in Dubai, Ranbir on the other hand was there to celebrate his father Rishi Kapoor’s 60th birthday along with mother Neetu Singh. The Kapoor sisters met them at the airport when they realized that they are taking the same flight.
But why we are telling you all this is the matter of fact that things were not smooth between the families of Ranbir and Karisma-Kareena. Everyone is aware of the fact that all was not going well between the Ranbir’s Mother Neetu Singh and Karisma-KAreena’s Mother Babita. The situation has reached the stage where the two bahus of Kapoor Khandaan avoided each other for almost two decades.

According to the reports the problem started when Randhir Kapoor married his Sindhi girlfriend, against the desires of the Kapoor family. Things became shoddier when Babita left the Kapoor family circle when objections lifted up about Karisma’s expressed her desire to make her career in films. Kapoor Khandaan is very particular about their women in family. They do not allow their women to pursue their career in films and this is probably the reason why Neetu Singh and Babita left the industry when they at the peak of their career.

Although Randhir and Rishi share a cordial bond with each other and both have appeared together in a recent movie ‘Housefull 2’. On the other hand their respective wives Babita and Neetu doesn’t bond with each other. Same vibes can be noticed among their children too. Karisma’s marriage is among one such instance where Neetu Singh and her children were not even been invited. However, Rishi Kapoor attended the wedding but without his family. On the contrary when Neetu’s Daughter Riddhima was getting married, Karisma and her husband were the only ones who were invited to attend the marriage affairs. But Karisma chose not to attend the wedding.

Things started changing gradually when Kareena complimented Ranbir for his work in debut movie Saawariya. Kareena Openly made the remark that, “We Kapoors are here to rock together.” On the more surprising note Kareena even chose to sit with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in spite of being offered a separate place at the event by organizers.

It seems both the family wants to come closer again by patching up. We saw the children of the two families chatting happily during the ‘Filmfare Awards.’  It was Karisma and Kareena who presented the Filmfare Critics award to Ranbir Kapoor. Not only this, Karisma even organized a family reunion in Goa for her son Kiaan’s second birthday. The two grandmothers were seen bonding with each other.

It’s a reunion for entire Kapoor Family. We hope things will always remain smoother amongst them.
