Karan Johar announced to direct a movie based on the family relationship of UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. The movie will be the sequel of “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham” and the title of the sequel will be “Conflicts hoti na khatam“.
The title character will be played by Ranbir Kapoor and the role of Akhilesh’s father Mulayam Singh Yadav will be played by Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor. Karan Johar has also cited a similarity between Rishi Kapoor and Mulayam Singh Yadav. Both of them manage to remain in the news with their controversial statements. As per the similarity between Ranbir Kapoor and Akhilesh Yadav is concerned, they both come from a family that has maintained it’s presence in their respective markets i.e Bollywood and Politics.
Talking about the script of the movie, Karan Johar says the Yadav family has been releasing interesting statements about each other since past few months. Given the situation, a daily soap based on the family issues would be appropriate. However, Karan Johar feels that Ekta Kapoor is far better than “her” when it comes to making daily soaps as she regularly apply soap while bathing.
Recent events in the family:-
1) Shivpal Yadav mess– Akhilesh Yadav hosted a party at home, Shivpal Yadav wanted to be the chief guest of the party but Akhilesh declined the proposal. Then, Shivpal Yadav wanted Akhilesh Yadav to invite his own friends of Quami Ekta Dal in the party but Akhilesh Yadav declined the proposal. Then, Shivpal Yadav wanted Akhilesh Yadav to call him “Chacha Chaudhary” instead of just “Chacha“, Akhilesh Yadav again declined the proposal (no rocket science). All this made Shivpal Yadav furious and he wanted to go away from the party. And then, Mulayam Singh Yadav comes in the picture. He asks the DJ to play favourite songs of Shivpal in the party. This was a serious blow to Akhilesh and he kept on repeating “DJ wale babu mera bhi gaana chala do” all throughout the party but it didn’t happen.
2) The chair!! -In a recent concluded media interaction, Mulayam Singh Yadav said, “even if we throw a successful party in 2017, it is not decided yet, whether Akhilesh will be invited to the party or not. Maybe, Mulayam Singh Yadav has realised that he can’t become the party host at the national level and thereby, he wants to be the party host at the state level, at least. Akhilesh, who has been the party host since 2012, finds the party host chair very comfortable and doesn’t want to vacate it for someone else.
3) Name Game– Akhilesh Yadav told the guests of the party that he has kept his own name in his childhood. Seemingly, Mulayam knew in the very childhood of Akhilesh that he won’t follow his (Mulayam’s) orders like a puppet, once he (Akhilesh) becomes the chief minister. Maybe, that’s why Mulayam never named Akhilesh. On the first day of school, teacher asked Akhilesh to tell his name and it was then he came up with a name-“Yadav…Akhilesh Yadav..”
On a surprising note, it was found in a research that 75% adults of the country don’t know the meaning of the word ‘Akhilesh’. Thereby, it is quite surprising that he came up with such a complicated name during his first day of school.
Thus, in Akhilesh’s biopic, the antagonist will not be Mayawati, Amit Shah, Rahul Gandhi or Rajnath Singh but his own family. The law and order of the family represents the law and order of the state.
Amar Singh, who has nothing to do with the whole scene has demanded a role for himself in the movie. The demand clearly indicates that he is jobless. Karan Johar has rejected his demand suggesting Amar Singh to go to Big Boss house if he has got nothing to do.
The movie will surely go tax-free in the state. Earlier, movies like Bajirao Mastaani, Humari Adhuri Kahani, Manjhi, even Tevar and many others had been declared tax free in the state. Now,either Akhilesh Yadav is a big movie buff, or he is targeting youth vote declaring movies tax free. There could be a third and a more appropriate angle too. Maybe this is the only decision he is allowed to make on his own by his family.
