Wedding bells are ringing for Saifeena. Like any other bride-to-be, Kareena is on cloud nine but I am sure she is also thoughtful about the changes that are coming her way. She must know that her life will change forever. She will no longer be “the most eligible bachelorette” of India.

Marrying an older man
Marriage is a partnership between equals. Thoughts and values have to be aligned between a man and a woman to enjoy each other’s company for life—but a generational gap is not something to be ignored. It is no longer courtship but a final deal and gloves definitely come-off in most marriages. If the duo enjoys their companionship genuinely in spite of an age difference of 10 years, then the marriage can work. Time will tell!
Step children
One challenging and awkward thing in Kareena’s new family is her grown up step- children. Everyone knows how complicated it can be for big kids to accept their step-parent. Kareena will have to tread carefully because she is not a mom yet and does not know what it means to deal with kids!!!
Saif’s past record as a husband
There are a lot of stories about Saif’s unconventional ways—marrying an older woman (not one or two years but more than a decade older) and then dumping her for a much younger woman. It is not the profile of a man who makes good choices in life. His treatment of Amrita Singh is definitely not ideal. It is fun to get along with a boy-friend but a tough job to deal with a husband, once the courtship days are over. Watch out Kareena—keep the marriage from going routine or boring.
Saif’s bad boy image
It is cool to date a bad boy in a movie but marrying one—a big problem for long term happiness! Saif has broken many hearts in the past. A heartbroken Italian girl, Rosa was camping in India a few years ago after he broke up with her suddenly. He recently was in the news for having a fist fight with an NRI in a posh restaurant. The list goes on!
