Mahatma Gandhi’s Dazzling Sex Life

When you think about Mahatma Gandhi the first thought that comes to your mind is Ahimsa. Mahatma Gandhi was known as the father of the nation and his ideology and hard work earned is the Indian independence on 15th august 1947.

Let us talk about some hidden and candid aspects of his life. Recently author and biographer Jad Adams created headlines across the globe with a controversial book titled ‘The truth about Gandhi’s sex life’. None of us really have thought about Mohandas Gandhi in this aspect but this book uncovers his affinity for sex and naked women in the best possible manner.

Mahatma Gandhi – a depressed sex maniac?

Yes, this book clearly establishes the fact that Gandhi was besotted by sex. In fact he would constantly speak about sex to his followers as he thought it is one of the best ways to satisfy human wants and needs. Having sex was considered pure and divine by the Father of the nation. In fact this book clearly spells out Gandhi’s sexual acts and his love for naked women. Can you imagine Mahatma Gandhi sleeping beside naked women?

This thought provoking book makes us think that was the great Mahatma a depressed sex maniac? He had a healthy sex life with his wife Kasturba and it is a known fact she got pregnant soon after her wedding to Gandhi. You may feel pathetic to learn that Gandhi was so driven by sex that he left his dying fathers bedside and was completely motivated to have sex with Kasturba. Is this the same man who taught us about values and respect or elders? Is he the same leader who preached Ahimsa?

There is a saying that lust is a must but it should destroy your image and isolate you from your loved ones. Gandhi’s lust for sex made him feel guilty because he was not there beside his father when the old man was taking his last breath.

After Gandhi set up Ashrams across idea he started his unnatural experiments with sex. In that era young boys and girls were made to sleep to with each other. Their naked bodies would touch one another and induce feelings of lust. However, it did not end here. Gandhi was known to have company while bathing and sleeping. It was none other than Sushila Nayyar – his personal physician. He even candidly proclaimed that he would keep his eyes closed when both of them would bathe together and he had no idea whether she had a bath with her clothes on or not.

Gandhi was surrounded by women after his wife’s death. At the age of 77 years Gandhi had asked a girl of 18 years to sleep with him on his bed. He wanted to really test his self control and purity and that is the primary reason for his uncontrolled lusty acts.

Is this book really going to assassinate Gandhi’s enduring character? Are we going to be ashamed of being led by a sex maniac? Or will Indians still be grateful for independence and ahimsa to Mahatma Gandhi- the Father of our nation.
