Rasna Girl Taruni Sachdev Dies in Nepal Plane Crash [Photos]

Famous child model, actress and more commonly known as Rasna girl Taruni Sachdev was also one of the 14 Indians who became victim of Nepal plane crash and died. The 14 years old Taruni Sachdev was travelling with her mother. She has acted in more than 50 ads and many films. Taruni is the same girl who have acted in famous Bollywood blockbuster “Paa” along with Amitabh Bachchan.

Taruni Sachdev (1998 – 14 May 2012) was an Indian child film actress and model who acted in Paa (2009). She was born in 1998 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She died when Agni Air Flight CHT crashed in Nepal on 14 May 2012.

Taruni Sachdev’s Films and Modelling career

She acted in several television advertisements of Rasna, Colgate, ICICI Bank, Saffola, Kesar Badam Milk, to name a few. She also worked in Malayalam movies Vellinakshatram (2004) and Sathyam (2004). She was also a part in Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain as a replacement of Shriya Sharma. She has acted in noted Bollywood films like Paa with Amitabh Bachchan. She worked in Chillar Party also as a supporting cast.She initially was seen in daily soap “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” as a child artist.
