Singer Ranbir’s impeccable efforts for ‘Barfi’

Everyone in Bollywood wants to be a multifaceted and following the legacy actor Ranbir Kapoor has turned singer from an actor. Well if you are thinking that he is leaving his acting career amidst then you are totally wrong. Because Ranbir is exploring himself and proving everyone that he can sing too. It has been reported that the actor is lending his voice to a promotional song for his upcoming silent film ‘Barfi’.
Recently, Ranbir has sung a song called ‘Phataphati’ (Bengali word for awesome). The first few lines of the song are in Bengali, while the rest of the lyrics are in Hindi.
If the reports are to be believed, the film’s director Anurag Basu and music composer Pritam have put in their efforts to the track’s vocals. Anurag and Pritam seem to be very impressed by the voice of Ranbir. In their recent interview to a leading daily Filmmaker Anurag confirmed the news of Ranbir’s singing expertise.
“We have recorded a song called ‘Phataphati‘, Ranbir has lent his voice to the track and it turned out very well. However, as we had already recorded the song and shot the video, we decided to release it at a later stage.
“It will be available on the internet and air on television. It will not be in the film. It’s a fun song that we wanted the people to see and enjoy,” said Anurag.
Even a promotional video of the song also been shot to add the flavor in the film.
Reportedly the track called ‘Phataphati‘ will not be the part of film and was recorded spontaneously. The song will be soon released online and Television channels but will not be featuring in the film. The director announces that ‘’Phataphati’ will entertain the people and surely people will enjoy too.
For all those who didn’t know “Barfi” directed by Anurag Basu and is scheduled to release on September 14.The film is a romantic comedy which revolves around three characters. Murphy (Ranbir Kapoor) whom everyone calls Barfi. He cannot speak or hear. Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra), an autistic girl and Shruti (Ileana D’ Cruz), who is a normal girl and falls in love with Barfi. His bitter-sweet relationship with Shruti (Ileana) and Jhilmil (Priyanka) sets in motion a series of events that turns his life upside down.
After receiving the accolades for the trailers of ‘Barfi’ Ranbir is gearing up to rock again with a one of the most impeccable performance of his acting career. This movie will also be a landmark debut for the actress ‘Ileana D’ Cruz’ as she is going to start her Bollywood career with this movie. Although she is not new to the acting field and did many hits down in south with different actors. The actress was recently in news because of her remuneration in the film industry but later she cleared off the controversy by saying, “she gets what she deserves”.
While the movie is about to release controversies and publicity gimmicks keeps on coming the way of ‘Barfi’ to increase the curiosity amongst viewers.
